Do you feel like you need to declutter makeup products? This is a very important thing that you should do once in a while. Purging unnecessary products will save you space. Also, you won’t need to dig through all those eyeshadows that you don’t even use. But, keep in mind that decluttering is not easy. At a certain point, you might feel overwhelmed by all those things. I have some really helpful tips to share with you. Once you pick them up, the process will be more smooth. So let’s get started!
Check The Expiry Date
You might feel confused when you start. To avoid this, I start with the expiry date. Every cosmetic product has a due date. Old products can contribute to irritations, so make sure that you throw these away.
Despite the expiry date, check their condition. If the product has changed color, smell, and texture, it means that it has gone bad. Due to bad storing conditions, the products can go bad even before the expiry date.
Damaged Packaging
Next on the throw list are the products with a broken package. The package is here to protect the product and prevent spills. If it is damaged, it will no longer protect the product. Your foundation can lose the hydration, and the lipstick can dry too. But, keep in mind that they can ruin other products from the collection. You get the idea that keeping these is bad.
Clean Everything
Remember to wash your makeup brushes. Also, take some time to clean the packages. Take some of your usual makeup removers and wipe the plastic boxes. This way, you will remove the unwanted residues.
Keep Only The Things That Make You Happy
Buying too much makeup is familiar to every lady. ut, you really need to make a difference between the products that you love and the ones you don’t. If you don’t use them, there is no need to keep them.
