Here’s a little tip: you don’t have to wear extra make up just because it’s a special occasion. You still want to look like you. If you’re used to the natural look, then stick with the natural look. Even if you’re used to wearing heavier make up, most experts say the natural look is the way to go.
If you’re going for a natural look, keep the blush just a shade or two darker than your skin. Your lipstick should look natural as well, but it doesn’t have to be boring. Feel free to use color, just don’t go over the top. Lipsticks designed to be long lasting are the best at staying in place. For a natural look don’t use too heavy or too bright eye shadows. Choose them in a way that complement your other makeup choices.
