My favorite holiday, Easter, is just around the corner and I’m very excited! Are you? All Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on this day. Baby chicks, rabbits and eggs are the symbols of Easter and they all represent images of new life. I’m not here to talk about the traditions, food and drinks, but about Eastern fashion and what you should wear on this day.
Typically, girls are wearing bright, Spring colors for Easter Sunday, while the women are wearing dresses and hats. These days, the formal clothing is being replaced with more casual pieces of clothes in many regions in US. Follow this guide here and find out what you should wear on Easter Sunday.
1. Determine where and when your Easter events will be. You may need to wear dress for the church service, but you don’t need to wear that dress on the backyard Easter egg hunt or on the family brunch. Keep the location and comfort in mind and select some appropriate pieces for all that activities.
2. Choose clothes for the church service. If you haven’t attended Easter Sunday church service at the church, ask your family members what should you wear. Some churches require formal clothing on this holiday, while others don’t have that traditions. In some churches women wear Easter bonnets, so consider wearing one if it is necessary.
Modest clothes are MUST for the Easter Sunday church services, so find a knee-length dress or longer and wear it. Everyone can not wear pastel colors, so find the colors that flatter your skin. You should wear brighter tones, if pastel colors make you look washed out. You can match pastel top with a navy skirt or with black pants. Floral skirts, blouses and sundresses are also a great choices to pick from. You should not avoid the accessories too. You can wear Easter bonnet to church, but you can experiment with your style and add other modern accessories that will highlight your beauty. Consider wearing scarves, hair accessories, handbags when styling your Easter Sunday outfit.
